Rules & Regulations While Photographing at the GWDC
Thank you for your interest in our Commercial Photography Program
Please read this information in its entirety and enjoy your experience with the bears and wolves. We hope you get some great pictures!
Any use of electrical instruments or additional lighting devices must be approved in advance by the GWDC. Cords and cables must be secured in a fashion that will not obstruct the path of visitors, animals and staff.
No whistling, clapping or any noises are to be made at the animals in an attempt to get their attention.
Access to, or photographing inside the animal habitats is not permitted under any circumstances.
At no time will access to or viewing by the visiting public be obstructed.
The Center and its facilities are subject to weather variations and temporary closures. Under certain circumstances, we may make arrangements to re-schedule the shoot for another day.
The GWDC reserves the right to abort any photo shoot/project, remove personnel from the facility, or prohibit release of the product with GWDC credit, for failure to comply with this or other standing rules and regulations.
Commercial Use Fees
- UNLIMITED DAY PASS: $250
- UNLIMITED WEEK PASS: $500
- UNLIMITED YEAR PASS: $1,000
These Commercial Use Fees allow you to take an unlimited amount of photographs or video footage during our regular business hours.
Liability Clause
Applicant/photographer agrees to hold the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, including it’s members, staff, volunteers, board and visitors harmless and indemnify them against any and all liability and loss which the undersigned may incur by reason of death to their person or damage or destruction to their property unless death or injury is negligently caused by the organization or any party entering the property with its authorization.
Unacceptable Use of Photography
Photographs, videos and film will in no way, shape or form intent to deface or misinterpret the mission of the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.
End commercial product will not intent to misrepresent the species or display them in a negative manner.
