West Yellowstone, Montana

See Live Bears and Wolves!

We are an AZA accredited Not-for-Profit, wildlife park and educational facility offering visitors to Yellowstone a chance to uniquely experience the world of grizzly bears and gray wolves. All the animals at the Center are unable to survive in the wild and serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts.

As a public health precaution due to COVID-19, the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center will be closed to the public through April 30th and beyond if necessary. This is a preventative action to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure the safety of our community, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
During this period when the Center is closed, essential animal care and operations staff will continue to provide care for the animals and make sure all essential life support and other vital systems continue to operate without disruption. We continue to develop plans to ensure the animals will be well cared for in the event of extended disruption to regular operations due to COVID-19.
If anyone has previously purchased tickets, we will honor/accept them on any future date in 2020. GWDC Members will automatically have their membership extended.
We look forward to reopening, and welcoming visitors back at the first opportunity we can responsibly do so.

Nice Things Our Guests Are Saying

“Great experience to see these animals up close…”

We had a great experience looking at grizzly bears and wolves, up close and personal. The Center saves these animals and educates the public about these special members of our environment. It is a good value because you get two days for the price of one. I fully recommend this side trip to Yellowstone. Take your camera!!! Great for all age groups. – Glenn R, TripAdvisor
