Adoption

Obsidian is a captive-born male wolf that arrived at the center in May of 2019 with his two littermates, Shasta and Bridger at the age of three weeks. He has a black coat with silver highlights and is roughly the same size as his brother, Bridger.  He is named after the black volcanic glass that forms Obsidian Cliff in Yellowstone.
