Adoption

The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center’s Fossil Butte wolf pack consists of one adult wolf and four pups. Sura arrived at the Center as an adult from another captive facility in Montana in the fall of 2019. Sura is a dark gray ten-year old. Her name is an Inuit word for “new life”. Sura and her previous pack mate had four pups that were born on April 30, 2020. The two females are Meriwether and Harlequin; and the two males are Boulder and Colter. The wolves spend time exploring their habitat or finding the perfect area to rest. The young wolves are growing fast and are now almost the same size as their mother.
